Nomos Glashütte have recently release some innovatory coloured, limited edition, variants of their Tangente model; it is a model that pays homage to the classic Bauhaus design ethic. They have released an amazing 31 variants, each one limited to 175 models worldwide, in celebration of 175 years of watchmaking in the Saxony town of Glashütte.

This brand new model that I am offering for sale is the ‘SCHULHAUSWEISS’ REF: 179.S11- with a cream / white dial, sand coloured sub-seconds dial, and blue Roman numerals. It is N0: 70 of 175 - All watches from this release will become collectable because of the limited numbers.

The stainless steel case is 37.5 mm and very slim at only 6.8mm, making it suitable for both men and women.

It features a hand wound caliber (DUW 4101) with 23 jewels and a 42 hour power reserve. All Nomos watches are designed and built in-house, as are their calibers and escapements, making them totally independent from any other sources; something even excellent watchmakers like Longines can claim.
