LONGINES HERITAGE CLASSIC TUXEDO WATCH - MINT CONDITION This watch is from Longines’ recent Heritage collection, and is a re-edition of the Longines vintage Tuxedo from 1945. The original was a watch that paid homage to the spirit of the preceding Art Deco period of the thirties. This new incarnation stays true to the design, although the case has been augmented to 38.5mm to be more in keeping with modern demand. To complete the art deco look, the hands and numerals are painted with a vintage shade of beige Super-Luminova The watch having only been worn a few times is in excellent condition, with no marks or scratches whatsoever. The only clue that it is not new, is the crease in the leather strap, from where it has been worn a few times. I bought the watch from an authorised Longines dealer in Bangkok, and it comes in its original box with all accompanying paperwork and books. So much so that Fortis took Poljot to court, with the results of the lawsuit being an injunction prohibiting Poljot from selling their Aviator line of watches in Switzerland and Germany.
