La Circassienne 2 prints. Circassia used to be a country and a historical region along the northeast shore of the black sea. It was destroyed and massacred after the Russian-Circassian war 1763-1864. The motives are from a book called La Carcasienne. La Circassienne was also a lady who was a model for Chanel during WW2. One is called the interrupted bath. One says “for sale cheap”.
